Project Overview
Hamdemirciler Jewelry is a well-established jewelry retailer based in Bursa, Turkey. The project was delivered through a professional referral from MedyaPark, a local creative agency. The client had initially commissioned the website through MedyaPark, but after the agency’s web designer left and no replacement was found, the project remained stalled for over two years with no progress both in design and code. I was brought in to take full responsibility and deliver a functional, multilingual catalog-style website that aligned with the business’s goals and customer base.
My Role
I took full ownership of the project. My responsibilities included:
- Project Scoping
- UX/UI Design
- Figma wireframes
- Photo editing
- WordPress Implementation
- Managing multilingual structure using Polylang plugin.
I also provided guidance on content strategy and collaborated with a photographer for a product shoot.

Design Process
The website is designed as a digital catalog with no e-commerce features. Instead of WooCommerce, I’ve created lightweight gallery-based category pages to showcase approximately 437 jewelry models. For key pieces, I arranged a professional photo shoot inside the store using a photographer provided by MedyaPark. The remaining product images were collected from supplier websites.
AI Generated Hero Section Design
One challenge was the homepage hero section. The store’s existing visuals lacked impact, and hiring a model for a custom photo shoot was outside the budget. Additionally, using branded products on a real model could create brand conflicts between different suppliers. To solve this, I used Midjourney to generate an AI-based hero image featuring a symbolic female figure wearing elegant, non-branded jewelry. This solution provided the necessary aesthetic quality without legal complications—making it one of my earliest real-world uses of generative AI, back in 2023.
The Outcome
The final website delivered a responsive, elegant catalog experience that worked beautifully across desktop, tablet, and mobile. The client was highly satisfied, especially after such a long delay with the previous agency. The site helped re-establish their digital presence and better connect with English, Arabic & Turkish speaking customers.

This wasn’t a complex product challenge — it was a matter of consistency, volume, and follow-through. From organizing and processing 437 jewelry items to building a multilingual structure across three languages, every layer of this project was handled end-to-end by me.
It reflects my ability to take over a paused project and deliver it with clarity, care, and full execution.
